Privacy & Cookies

ResiRules collects information needed to provide the service, including agent names, agent email addresses, brokerage names, homeowner names, homeowner email addresses, uploaded HOA documents, homeowner questions, generated answers, gift status, payment status, and basic technical information related to account security and app use.
Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by ResiRules.
How we use information
ResiRules uses collected information to:
- Deliver and activate closing gifts
- Create and secure user accounts
- Store and process HOA documents
- Answer homeowner questions
- Send account and gift-related emails
- Process payments
- Provide customer support
- Detect misuse and protect the service
Service providers
ResiRules may share information with service providers that help operate the app, including hosting, artificial intelligence, email delivery, file storage, authentication, and payment providers.
ResiRules does not sell homeowner personal information.
Agent access
Real estate agents cannot see homeowner documents, questions, answers, or document activity. Agents may only receive basic information about the gift they purchased, such as whether it was sent or activated.
Retention and deletion
Uploaded documents and account information are kept only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and protect the app. Users may request account or document deletion by contacting contact@resirules.com.
Security
ResiRules uses reasonable safeguards to protect user information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
ResiRules is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

Cookies and browser storage
1. What ResiRules uses
ResiRules may use cookies and similar browser-storage technology, such as local storage and session storage, to operate the app. Today, ResiRules uses only essential technology. It does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, heatmaps, or optional preference cookies.

- Sign-in and staying signed in
- Account security
- Private document access
- Upload processing
- Payment processing
- Fraud prevention
- Basic site functions, such as remembering your scroll position
3. Optional technology
None. ResiRules currently uses no optional analytics, advertising, or preference cookies, so there is nothing optional to accept or reject. If that ever changes, this page will be updated and visitors will be asked for permission before any optional technology loads.
4. Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention. Essential. Loads only on payment pages, before consent, because checkout cannot work without it. Stripe privacy
- Supabase (Lovable Cloud) — authentication, sessions, database, and private document storage. Essential. Session data is stored in your browser's local storage after you sign in. Supabase privacy
- Google Fonts — website typography. Essential to page display. Loads before consent and sets no cookies in your browser. Google privacy
- Google Cloud Document AI — server-side text extraction from scanned HOA documents. Essential. Runs only on our servers and sets no cookies or browser storage. Google Cloud privacy
- Gemini models via the Lovable AI Gateway — generating answers from your documents. Essential. Runs server-side only and sets no cookies or browser storage. Lovable privacy
- Email delivery (Lovable transactional email) — gift invitations, activation, and account emails. Essential. Sent from our servers; no browser cookies or storage. Lovable privacy
No analytics tools, advertising pixels, heatmaps, customer-support widgets, third-party error-tracking scripts, or embedded third-party media are used on the site.

6. How visitors can control cookies
- Because ResiRules uses only essential technology, there are no optional cookies to turn on or off, and no Cookie Settings panel is needed. If optional cookies are ever added, a consent banner and a Cookie Settings panel will be provided.
- You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies and storage will sign you out and may prevent uploads and payments from working.
- Clearing your browser storage also clears the record that you dismissed the privacy notice, so it will appear again.
